Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Grand Cayman and staying in one of the luxurious cottages at Botanica Cayman. From the moment I arrived, I knew I made the right choice. The bedroom was equally as impressive. The plush bedding and high-quality linens provided a truly restful sleep each night.

We drew inspiration from lesser-known Caribbean and endemic flora and used simple line drawings with sage green and neutral-hued watercolors in our branding illustrations. Once our visual identity was established, materials and decor were selected to honor our heritage and make our spaces feel light and airy.

Finally, special touch points and thoughtfully curated amenities were selected to complement the experience. From custom-debossed guest compendiums, buttery soft linen bed covers, sustainable bamboo sheets, herbal infused wellness coffee to hair and body care from one of the leading brands in botanical science; these details culminate to create your escape and encourage you to embrace the moment."

The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful private outdoor area where you could eat, lounge, and relax. You also had nice outdoor lights for the evening as well. The second thing was the oasis as I like the call it which is the pool area. The pool area was very well thought out from the placement of seating, loungers, and the daybed where I napped a few times. The pool is big enough to lounge with a full guest and is covered by lush flora. The area has pool toys as well so you can just float away. You truly felt like you had escaped reality and were at your own private escape on the island. One morning I took a nice bike ride through the neighborhood with one of their complimentary bikes.
